Currently, there is no official confirmation about the name of the next OS version but it will probably be called ColorOS 7. Also, there are no official words on the features and its release date. What we know here is Oppo releases its own OS version based on Google’s latest Android version every year and Google’s latest version Android 10 has been official. — ColorOS shares most of the features of the latest Android version but it comes with few additional features which don’t come with Google’s Android. Oppo announced Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6 on September 2018. The ColorOS 6 based on the Android 9.0 Pie came pre-installed on all the OPPO and REALME smartphone. For your information, Google officially announced the final release of Android 9.0 under the title “Pie” on August 6, 2018.

Now the important question — When will we see the ColorOS 7 for the very first time? The ColorOS 7 will be there in October — November 2019. It’s because Oppo announced the ColorOS 6 on September 2018, after one month of Android 9.0 Pie release, which was August 2018. This time Google latest android 10 official launch in September 2019 so after one or two months ColorOS will be launched.
Google has released the second Android Q beta update. The final version of the Android 10 in September 2019, just like last year, according to Google’s official developer beta timeline.
ColorOS was listening to its customers and gathering feedback. The company was working with its R&D team to integrate “highly requested” features in the OS.

We don’t have any confirmation of what to expect from Oppo where Android 10 is concerned, but we do know the Oppo Reno is likely to be one of Oppo’s first devices to receive the update when it’s available, as it’s the only Oppo device in the Android 10 beta program.
