It is being told that the two-door small electric car MG E230 EV can be presented at Auto Expo 2023. But now before that the interior look of this car has come to the fore. MG compact EV
According to reports, this car will be smaller than the Tata Nano. At the same time, it is being told that this compact EV of MG coming to India will be very similar to the Wuling Air EV and Wuling Honguang EV found in China. According to the leaked pictures, the interior of this mini EV coming to India will get a dual-tone set-up. Light colors have been used in it, which gives a great look to the entire cabin.
The interior of the car can be seen in the pictures above. Inside this car will be a dual 10.25-inch screen which will show about the vehicle details and other information. At the same time, two AC vents will be provided just below the screen, with three round knobs for HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) control. There is also a two-spoke unit for the steering wheel which will have different control setups on both the sides.
Also, the door pads, dashboard and seats have been given white and brown finish. 4 people can comfortably sit in this Mini MG EV car. Talking about the center console, it will get some storage space, gear selector, electronic parking brake and power window switch.

Earlier, the website of Autocar India had spotted this car during testing. It was clear from the picture that MG used the left-hand drive version of the Air EV for testing. During this it was told that a spare tire has been installed on the boot of the car, which has also been seen on the global model. In Indonesia, the Air EV is sold with 12-inch steel wheels. However, in India, we might get to see stylized wheels.
According to the report, soft-touch material with wooden and faux aluminum insert can be given in the higher variant of the E230. Also, the infotainment system and instrument cluster are expected to have a dual-screen layout. If we talk about the look, then the design of this electric vehicle is very unique. It features two-door body styles with funky elements and design language. It is based on MG's Global Small Electric Vehicles (GSEV). The platform is also capable of producing different body styles.
It is codenamed E230 and will be based on the Wuling Air EV. Let us tell you that Wuling is the sister brand of MG and they recently introduced Air EV in Indonesia. However, MG will make some changes to the Air EV before launching it in the market. Officially, the company had recently made a statement that the price of this company's upcoming EV for India will be around Rs 10 lakh to 15 lakh. So we expect the MG E230 EV to be priced below Rs.10 lakhs ex-showroom.
